Exploring the Natural World Through Mindful, Expressive Drawing
by Sharla R. Hicks

The student who seeks out Sharla is on a journey to find their unique artistic voice through the art of expressive tangling.  Sharla's teaching is grounded in Zentangle's "one stroke at a time" drawing method. "One stroke at a time" facilitates exploring a style of mark-making that dances with petals and leaves using tangling, repetitive patterning, variation, repetition, and practice. Sharla helps you develop creative thinking skills aided by visual vocabulary, intuition, and logic that facilitate finding a unique signature style.
