Cancellations, Return, Exchange & Damage Policy

Retreat and Workshop Cancellation
  • Cancellation requests within 90 days of retreat will be subject to a NON-refundable $250 registration fee.

  • If earlier than 90 days prior to retreat or if space can be filled from the waiting list, a $50 admin fee will be deducted.

  • If for any unforeseen reason the class is canceled by Sharla R. Hicks, you will be issued a full refund.
Merchandise
  • USA & Canadian customers have 30 days to request a return (return authorization required) for product dissatisfaction or action on damaged product. Toll Free Phone: 888-545-8616 or Phone: 1-714-630-7414.

    • Regarding e-mail: Please check spam/junk folders for a return reply. NOTE: Some countries reject our e-mail (we do NOT receive bounced notice), so if a timely reply is not received, please request again and ask us to use our alternate e-mail address for reply.

  • Action to be taken by customer and/or Soft Expressions regarding return or damaged item(s) will be determined at time of contact.

    • Please do NOT return BEFORE contacting operations at SharlaHicks.com.

    • Returned items because of dissatisfaction or customer error are NOT refunded shipping costs.

    • Shipping & handling costs refund ONLY if return is because of error by operations at SharlaHicks.com.

    • Items returned after 30 days are subject to 25% restocking charge.

    • *See software, CD, DVD, & Video exclusion below*.

  • REQUIRED for Refund: Return in resale condition with undamaged original packaging. NOTE: To protect return from mailing damage, please include foam peanuts, bubble wrap, and/or cardboard insert(s) to protect corners & edges on books and other items.
    • Refunds are issued in the original form of payment.

    • Refunds are will be processed within 2 weeks of eligible return.

  • Special Order Returns (return authorization required) following instruction outlined above.
    • NOTE: Special orders are defined as item(s) and/or large number/quantity of item(s) ordered specifically at the customer's request.

    • Special Order Returns are subject to 15% restocking fee for items in our normal stock PLUS the incurred shipping costs associated with sending product to you.

    • No refund/return on special order item(s) that are NOT part of our normal stock.

  • Return for Exchange (return authorization required)

    • Customer may exchange for different item(s) when return comes back in resale condition (see below.)

    • On Exchanges we CHARGE actual Shipping Costs on exchange item and we do NOT add Handling fee.

    • Return with original packaging. NOTE: To protect return from mailing damage, please include peanuts, bubble wrap, and/or cardboard insert(s) to protect corners & edges on books and other items.

  • Refund for Lost Packages In the rare event that your order never arrives, notification of lost package must be received within 30 days of order being shipped by Soft Expressions.
